I guess I thought of Sonic as a fast ass gold ring taking thief. You come into Mario's world though and start stealing coins and shit, you might literally get your ass stomped on.simple as that.

In his defense, Mario is also a coin theif. Sonic's rings are just lying around, while mario goes through the trouble of smashing open bricks to get at coins.

I'd say it's even. The Mushroom Kingdom has coins just floating in the air and has some in blocks. Sonic's world has coins lying around, as well. However there are also quite a few in computer monitors and (in recent years) in capsules.

And this is the only conceivable way that Mario would win in their Olympics. I really love the concept. It seems to me that their worlds would mix together a bit better than I had previously thought.
