"Mors et vita in manu linguae qui diligunt eam comedent fructus eius"
"Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof."
- Proverbs 18:21

This is a piece i started a long time ago, but now it is finished.

"Power" is a special artwork done in collaboration with Serge Crowley, a fellow digital artist and friend of mine, he created the demoness model in this artwork. What i really liked about this particular piece was creating the flowing lava on the ground and the armour and tattoos of the demoness. The topic of the piece is power and it is made to represent that. Despite the dark, flaming theme of the piece, i don't think power is evil or that it should be associated with being evil by any means, instead i believe the exact opposite - that it is one of the best things you can give yourself, and that by nature it is neutral and it depends on each individual person what to make of it. Power can make either angels or demons from men. I also believe that by being a powerful person, no matter how upright and benevolent and pure you may be, some may still regard you as bad and try to oppose you regardless, to those you may be evil anyway. Power is a sword best kept seathed, but it should always be there.

The Latin writings on the parchment are "Mors et vita in manu linguae qui diligunt eam comedent fructus eius".
