Description

The VPM2 (Valkyrie Arms Pistol, Model 2) was a further development of an existing design, intended to provide improved armor penetration capabilities against Earth Union plate.

The pistol was striker-fired and chambered in 8x26mm. Cartridges issues for field use were typically +P loaded with armor piercing tips. For training and law enforcement, cheaper full-metal-jacket cartridges were usually used.

The VPM2 was well received by the Novian armed forces, receiving praise for its accuracy and crisp trigger pull. Distribution was quite limited, however, with the pistol only being issued to specific security units, officers, and special forces. The pistol later found a second life on the civilian market, becoming popular in the competitive shooting scene.
