Since more about Evelyn has been revealed- I can talk about this Infernape, Skull!

Skull used to be with Evelyn's mother, before she caught on that Skull can tend to become dangerous, So she broke up with her. However. Skull refused to accept this and kept an eye on the ribombee when she could, to discover that she had moved on. Filled with fury, Skull killed a duo of pokemon, and fled off with the eggs that would hatch to become Evelyn, and his twin brother Ivy.
Evelyn and Ivy grew up with Skull as their mother, They only know her by "mother". They too discovered how dangerous she was, They got separated as they fled, Evelyn doesn't know where his brother is anymore.
