Finally, a completed piece. This is Crystal Hikara, better known as Mewster. She used to look a lot more different (look under sketches for more info on the first design). Mewster actually came about from her being part Mew, back in the day, four years ago. Just this year, I changed her to have white cat ears and tail, from the Avelaine design (I might put it up later). For the most part, though, she went unchanged- sky blue eyes, stubborn pink bangs (I doubt those'll go away anytime soon), long, blonde hair, onyx tail ring, deep blue pants, the necklace of Hikara, and a sakabato. The ears and tail changed, though I strived to keep the basic shape of them (You can tell with the tail- it poofs out near the end, and is long).
However, there was a change in Mewster, that the picture conveyed pretty well. Her eyes aren't as big, aren't happy. Soulless, not reflecting half the light they used to. That was the major change. The phoenix cape is also new to her 18-year old self, protecting her from heat and cold, also adding purple to the design. The typical pink shirt she wore is now replaced with the white shirt. All and all, it was pretty cool designing this. Now I'm tempted to go back and re-draw all of my horrid past pictures of Mewster. >.>' It was a pain getting this down, but it was worth it.
