Description
In which we meet the classmates of Fireball, plus a couple of the adults there. As stated, this isn't everyone who attends/works at the school, just the ones that he would talk to frequently (well, they talk to their teachers, but again, more relevant adults).

Snowflake Winters. Species: Dwarf Hamster. Sister of Casey Winters . Fireball's plucky, loyal, and often stubborn best friend. She's usually the cool head in contrast to Fireball's fiery temper, though she can be quite the fierce competitor in gaming tournaments or trivia games.

Gary Shrewd. Species: Shrew. A shy nerdy boy that Fireball befriended on accident thanks to working together on a science project and discovering that they have similar interests. Thus, not only is he an academic nerd, he's also fiction nerd buddies with Fireball and Snowflake.

Carter Pincho. Species: Capybara. A prominent athletic kid that looks down on those he sees as weaker. Fireball usually shoos him off whenever he bothers Gary, though Carter can and has pushed Fireball's buttons and framed him for causing trouble.

Daisy and Pearl LeMus. Species: Mouse. A pair of twins who seem to be on every student committee (fundraising, service, spirit, newspaper, yearbook, etc.), so no matter where on the school grounds Fireball and co. go, chances are they'll see them. They're nice, but sometimes one wonders if there are just two of them.
Based on pet mice that me and my sister KnightA3 had as kids

Paint Jirdson. Species: Gerbil. Son of Dr. Marion Jirdson , and brother of Goldie and Blackie . An weird, enthusiastic artist always seeking to brighten up the school, much to other students' delight (and sometimes the annoyance of the faculty). Fireball always ends up sitting next to him in class, though they don't really hang out much.
Based on a gerbil my brother had when we were kids, along with two others that Paint's brothers are based on.

Principal Vanna Burrows. Species: Prairie Dog. A principal who could suck the fun out of a room just by walking into it. Seeking order among her rowdy students, she can cow them into submission with an icy glare. Doesn't like excusing Fireball to go fight supervillains, usually because he's in trouble and needs to be disciplined, and what message would that send to the other students? But, sometimes supervillains need to be burned, so she lets him go--on orders that he come back and make up his detention time.

Yori Yamane. Species: Japanese Dormouse. The kindly old janitor who wants to serve each student the best he can, be it by offering them advice, fixing things, helping them find a lost item, or teaching a kid self-defense techniques. While usually in a good mood, he can be pretty sarcastic around Principal Burrows.
