Exposure made the fire look like that? Sweet! That's cool, like tentacles reaching out, trying to escape into the dark... well that's what I think. Great photo.

The long exposure on this one was just right to make the capture of "a burning bush". This is a unique shot of a fire for it looks like something completely different...I look on it and can see two different things...a flaming tumbleweed or those fiery colors sea anemones at the bottom of the sea.

It's like ... some sort of fire plant! Hmm, just imagine if those things actually existed ... the whole world would be in flames!
Anyway, just being weird -- sweet exposure!

unlike drawings, the photography is the field where i am not able to provide any constructive ritics or analysis. I can only sigh with admiration when I see such outstanding photos

Spectacular!
Such a long exposure, I'm impressed. This makes me wish I had a shutter release for my old cam. I should do it!
This thuimbnail does it little justice. The hi-res version is so exquisitely sweet. Wow, I could stare at all so ash trails for hours. Wouldn't it be cool if fire looked like this in realtime? Dreamer...
So was this on film? Or are you lucky enough to have a decent quality digi cam? I can tell ya now, I'd be over-exposing that baby if it were mine. Hmmm, must experiment.
Shit, today I decided I'd give up photography because of expense. You've changed my mind. Thankyou.
I really like your composition. You've taken what is probably a very good photograph and turned it into a great pic. That said, I reckon it might benefit from a bit more cropping, something a little more drastic perhaps. Anyhow, that's my opinion.
Hey, maybe I'm bored (night shift here at work for one night only - 10:30pm here in sunny Melbourne).

could you give a slight sum-up of the sets, shutter speeds to camera specs? also distance of the fire and stuff like that...
I'm always one to learn, and this is teachable class
