hi i made a tutorial for a friend so im sharing it finally
1) smooth shapes, fire is not scratchy
2) erase and give edges, add parts that are not connected to the whole
3) add sparks, there are more towards the base then the tip of the fire
4) add lighter, golden color, there is not an equal amount of red and yellow, there is far more red, the yellow tends to be smoothed lines and edges
5) add another layer behind it and with a brush with blurred edges, add some squiggles to give it body
6) erase holes in the background squiggles to give it more texture
7) erase the body in an eraser in a few places to make it less intense on the eyes, dont worry, the glow will bring back the vibrance without making it kill your eyes
8) slap some red light onto the back of it
9) add a little bit of gold onto the top of it to make the colors pop more if you want that effect
10) bask in the fire uve crafted
