Description
An apartment complex near where I live went completely up in flames last week and I happened to be driving around right when it started. At first I stayed near the perimeter, but a police officer approached me and asked me, "Looking for a better place to shoot?" I said, "...Yes!!" and he led me up to a fence right near the blaze, and fire fighters. I'm going to upload more from the outing. This shot had contrast adjusted a bit to make it more dramatic. I'm a big fan of high contrast/noir work.

Sadly there were 3 people who died in this fire and hundreds who lost their homes, and I have provided the local FD a copy of all my pictures to aid in their investigation, so besides hopefully providing a stunning look at the tragedy, I help out the victims too.
