I'm glad season 3 started! and I'm really excited about pinkie, scootaloo (best pony?) and trixie episodes, this is gonna be good.have a comic.

Twilight, as I understand it, Spike brought Princess Cadence the crystal heart because you weren't sure how quickly you could find a way to escape the tower. You weren't willing to risk the future of the citizens of the crystal empire in an effort to guarantee your own. Far better that I have a student who understands the meaning of self-sacrifice, than one who only looks out for her own best interests.

This may have been written in fanfics to death, but In my opinion, the next level of studies Celestia mentioned will be with Luna.

Theory time: Twilight is going to have to make a decision at the end of this season, and throughout the season there will be events planned by Celestia and Luna to see if Twilight is worthy. What is she being tested for? Why of course to be the heir to the throne when Celestia and Luna have gone. However Twilight will refuse and COMEDY GOLD will ensue.

What makes you think there's a Derpy episode? I know there was a hoax image of episode listings, but in that it was listed as episode 56... which would land it it at season 5, episode 4 (assuming S4 was another 13 episodes).
