For someone who considers themselves 20% more awesome, she really needs to get her life and her shit together before she can advance in anything. Flying is only going to get you so far in life (sarcastic laughter I made a pun). Maybe you should finish school and settle down on solid ground. All your friends have homes and jobs on the ground (Even Pinkie works harder than you do and shes....PINKIE) and while your job is important, there are many others like yourself doing the exact same thing. Joining the wonderbolts is an admirable dream to which you might have the potential for and I want a pretty pink birthday cake with my face on it, but that doesn't mean its gonna happen (Pinkie, this is not a challenge for you so don't even think about it). How many others are there who have trained harder than you for all thier lives wanting to get in to those ranks of the elite flyers? The odds are quite agenst you. You could specialize in a craft and open your own store in town. Take out a loan andd open your own bussiness.
I myself have my own potion store to where I've been providing the hard working folk of this town for well over a year with remedys, elixers, and more with my skill and I'm younger than Pinkie Pie. Yet when I was younger still (much like yourself), I had a dream of roaming lands far and wide beyond the borders of our own with the money from my inheritents. I failed to foresee the unfortunate accident that costed me my left eye and my wings despite my gift of farsight, yet I was too confedent in myself and I ignored the warnings at my own risk. I was once a proud member of a noble family whose power was only riveled by that of the crown itself before the inccedent had occured and I was deemed unfit to inherit my birth rights. I went into a self imposed exile out of shame from my arrogence that had blinded me. As I limped away into the country side, I learned humility from the hardy earth ponies and there acomplishments despite not having wings or horns. While I lacked my wings and my fortunes, I still had magic up my sleeves thanks to my horn. I sought out a teacher how could guide me along the right path and was delighted when I finally found her, Zaccora. She taught me the basics of the craft, gave me my own starters set of potion flasks and ingredients, and pointed me to ponyville and the rest was history.
Your a fitness fanatic, maybe you could open your own gym and help others stay in shape and feel better about themselves. You still have quite a bit of potiental Rainbow, do not depend on one skill to save you.
