Personality: Lichen has yet to properly come out of his shell after his rescue, but every so often there's a gleam of who he is under the anxiety and confusion of his new life. He is a very careful and thoughtful boy, and has always been a quiet sort even before he simply stopped talking altogether that fateful night in the desert.

History: The story of 'Lichen' as he is now would begin near the brink of summer in the year 2263, where he was found huddled and wounded in the great desert by a pair of curio s who were part of the search for the Overseer's lab. His parents were nowhere to be found and judging by the state he was in, it was safe to assume he was the lone survivor of whatever tragedy took place shortly before his discovery. His rescuers would tend to his wounds and take him under their wing for the time being until they could start a proper search for any next of kin... which was difficult to do when they had no clues or leads to go off of, and the fearful child couldn't utter a single word to help himself.

mmmmmore tba i have so more to write bc HOO BOY that was one summer but it's almost 3am rn and I hate deviantart so uhhhh stay tuned o7 but yeah to summarize? little desert orphan gets adopted by little mountain orphan and his bestie and they go through a series of unfortunate events together and by the time things settle down and they think 'hey maybe we should find someone to take care of this guy' it is too late bc he has already adopted them and there's no getting rid of him now. (not that peter would have been able to give him up anyway, he saw too much of himself in this scared lil kit and permanently unlocked Dad Mode)
