A lot of people have wondered what it would be like if Postman Pat and Fireman Sam were to join forces, of which they did in a way with what they did for Children In Need in 2009 where stop motion characters were brought together singing and dancing: www.deviantart.com/bercol3/art…

With the off camera lives of animated characters of all animation styles in the live action Rescue Rangers film, just that would be accomplishable with Pat and Sam. Question remains on if the retoolings of their shows in universe were to have different actors (Postman Pat in 2004 and Fireman Sam in both 2003 and 2008), or if they went through an animation style upgrade.
