Actually, the name "Bubble Tea" is not from the pearls at the bottom, it's named thusly becuase when the drink is shook bubbles form on the top.
It can also be called Pearl Tea, or just Milk Tea.
You can get them all over Canada also.

What I like is the very real feel of summer in this picture - in the angle, the light, the choice of drink, even the way her skirt flips. It all makes me think I can actually feel that light breeze, make me blink up into the sun. I love it.

i actually know what that is! lol there was a Asian thing at the college once and bubble tea was an offered item. not sure what the "tea" is but the "bubbles" are Blue berries correct?
this is a kewl pic. i wish i lived in Asia lol mainly Japan. i love the culture and especially the Traditional part of it. one day ill have the money to visit on Vacation ^_^
