Once, every 100 years, a special comet would fly over the Mushroom Kingdom. Unbeknownst to many, this was the Comet Observatory passing by, piloted by Rosalina. As far as everyone else is concerned, its a comet, and the spectacle is a beauty to behold. And thus, the Star Festival ensues as the comet passes and stars rain down from the sky. Toad and Toadette watch this, all awestruck by what they see.
