Aw man I'll elaborate later, my brain feels fried right now but basically picked 'The Loop' for Lamon because both his regular and Mage form are two extremes and he cannot truly find the balance he is looking for in himself. So even if his Mature Form lets him act more confident and carefree, it's not who he wants to be, thus back at square one.
