Once the product of a large mechs/weapondry manufacturing foundry, Codex is a Covert-Ops/Assassinations-class Commando Mech. while most mechs at the foundry are hive minds, specialized classes such as Codex are given more independent AI programmings to allow for more efficient successes. But doing so led Codex to become self-aware, kill or injure many of his manufacturers, and go rogue, taking on the role of an assassin. Codex is equip with multiple devices and weapons useful during covert missions, such as radar dampeners, infared sensors, barrier-mounted mortars, and even knee-installed rockets. during one of his assignments, he lost most of his right arm in a rigged explosion. He replaced it with a double-action limb: a submachine gun with silencer nozzle and sniper pin-point and a sonic generator node. He also wields a crescent blade with his left hand, but keeps that arm concealed with a torn cloak.
