Daisy Edgar-Jones was an avid user of the Earpods like everyone else; she always kept them plugged and never missed a download, allowing Cybus access to her brain whenever they required, coming to a complete stop and letting them in without resistance whenever her Earpods began to flash and beep. She would never of the Ultimate Upgrade, Cybus's final plan for humanity, and that one day her Earpods would activate for the final time, taking full control of her mind and making her turn and march to a Cybus factory for conversion into a Cyberman; her brain placed in an undying steel suit of armour, all emotions permanently removed, doing always as Cybus commanded. She had let Cybus in by wearing the Earpods, and she would be rewarded for her loyalty with the upgrade.
