Thanks so much! And, as I've said many times before, I know the book doesn't mention he has stripes, but I always imagined him as a tabby. And frankly I've never seen an orange cat without even the dimmest stripes! ....Have you? But you're not wasting my time XD I never have anything to do.

Thanks! Glad you like it. This pic took me a verrrry long time. First I did the sketch and scanned it into photoshop. Then I used the pen tool to do the lineart for it. Then I colored both of then completley with their main color. I used the lock transparency option on the layers and then drew in all of the markings. I then shaded it, just using black with the opacity turned to a very low percentage. The backround took an even longer time, and I don't exactly know how I did it! I just experimented a lot with different brushes and stuff to get what I did. The best advice I could give you is just to experiment as much as you can and you'll discover what works for you!

Hehe, thanks! ^^ The ground took a long, LONG time and a ton of layers in photoshop. I couldn't tell you exactly how I did it, because honestly I don't know! XD Just a bunch of experimentation until I thought it looked ok!

I just have something quick.
Sandstorm looks more like Fireheart does in this pic.
Fireheart is really not supposed to have any stripes.
His eyes are green, not fading, just green, like the forest.
Other than that, this is an adorable picture. :3

huh? Firstar is a dark ginger tom, he probably does hae tabby markings because Erin hunter makes everything a damn tabby XD And also, he has emerald green eyes, so its pretty correct, im not sure about Sandstorms eyes, but she is a PALE Ginger she-cat, just like in the picture.

not trying to be rude but do research before you start saying comments like this on people pictures. It makes you sound stupid, Ima lso a HUGE Fan girl so I get really worked up about people liek you who do this, and get the characters incorrect!

and I remember the very first thing being said about Sandstorm is something describing her: a light ginger she-cat with darker ginger stripes. *shrug*
