This picture represents how some false friendships/relationships are all about manipulation and control.
A person who is paranoid about losing his/her friend and will lie,"give advice", or convince his/her friend with his/her thoughts (controlling the individuals thoughts and actions).
Usually a weak person will find another individual who is also weak and control his/her mind with manipulative words and actions so he or she will never be able to think on their own.
A weak person can take advantage of the other simply because he/she is also weak. As long as this goes on the controlled individual will never be able to grow stronger as an individual and will always be weak.
Anyone (especially strong people) who tries to get in the way (and strengthen them) the will be pushed away and rejected simply in fear that the controlled individual will gain control over his or her own thoughts and won't need the controller anymore.
