Just use a content-holder box code in the "Lorem Ipsum" part of the code and it should do it.

now that i have added my dev username geminiartnstock within that custom blue box i have how do i actually get rid of the dev username link that comes as standard for all members in there deviant id box

You gotta use a background image to hide the things behind the content holder box.

For those having trouble with the 'Copy Image Location' and 'Copy Link Location' part as your browsers, like mine, aren't showing the option to let you to that. I have found a way around it. Due to the left-click menu not showing the 'Copy Link Location', I simply copy and pasted the 'Image URL' for both the 'direct-image-link' and 'image-url' and that seemed to work! c:
So do not worry if 'Copy Link Location' doesn't appear on the option menu, just simply use the image-URL for that part too! o: It seemed to work for me by doing it that way! c:

Umm, in that case, chances are that you are using an incorrect image link. Check your deviation-image-link properly.
