Description
Mysterious new design of Borg cube 5km on each side, the exact purpose of which is unknown.
Possible theories based on the few encounters:
1) Centre cube is a scout that might be sent ahead via subspace transport (which would have even greater range due to Borg transwarp technology).
2) Centre cube allows for quarantine of more dangerous specimens.
3) Outer cube adds protection to primary centre cube (though existence of tactical cubes design casts doubt on this theory).
4) Longer range cube possibly with the intention of extra galactic travel.
Or just a new design brought about by a newly assimilated technology...no one is entirely sure.
