Description this is me in the studio working on a project/jewelry piece that involves a large anticlastic raise. synclastic raising is the process of forming a structure like a bowl from a single sheet of flat metal, both axis form the same direction. in anticlastic raising, the axis go opposite directions forming a structure that would look like a pringles potato chip- the 2 axis opposing each other. not only am a forming a piece along these axis lines, but i am twisting it at the same time, to flow in a twist around the neck.
