Description
a few sketches of the "Sheepdog" that's attacked our members on REA:C. Version #1 (the shark-head one) was the first one introduced. Through a little modification and mutation, they turn into Version #2, the smarter version. The second version is harder to kill, 'cause they don't have to lift up their noses to bite you. The Shark-heads would tilt their noses up and run at you in order to bite you, but in doing so, they were blind and couldn't see an attack coming. The new version of this 'Sheepdog' is able to attack without having to tip it's head up, seeing as how it's mouth is at the end. This version also doesn't rely on eyes. They're heat/sound/smell sensitive. Their skin senses heat from living creatures, but is the least effective sense, seeing as how they'll become confused if near somethin' like a fire. Sound and smell are the major senses, but they rely mostly on sound. The little arms in the front are curled up to the chest and quite useless. A few more mutations and evolutions and they will be completely gone. They're just there for slight balance now. Another deadly feature is it's double tai. The smaller, thinner tail on the bottom is sharp and can easily slice through things if used on it's edge. The larger tail serves as a club as well as storage for the razor-tail when it's not in use. The two tails combine to form one when they're not attacking, and they have a habit of approaching a victim slowly, both tails out, criss-crossing one another as they swing back n' forth.
Their skin is gray and their mouths are just like a sharps, in that there are rows of razor-sharp teeth. The first front ones poke out slightly more than the back rows and are used to catch and hold the prey, injuring it. Their large black tallon-like claws on their front two toes are used as back up weapons, but are mainly used to rip the flesh open on their prey once they've killed/subdued it. These things are predators and hunt mainly at night, prefering rainy conditions and slightly colder conditions. They tend to be a lot slower in hotter weather, unable to regulate their body temperature well, and they become easily sick when too hot. This is why they burrow underground and rest during the daylight hours in the summer when it's hot.
aaaand that's all I can think of to say 'bout these things. Other than they're scary, but not too hard to kill. A couple good gunshots to the head or torso should kill them. Just never try and take one on with something as silly as a fork >_> I will garuntee that you won't be leaving that fight alive or in one piece.
