For anyone who watched Beast Wars, there was a maximal who transformed into a hawk named Airazor, being one of the two female robots in disguise(The other one being Blackarachnia). In this universe, Airazor is the Captain of the Wonderbolts, and the mentor of Spitfire and Rainbow Dash. While she is loyal to Princess Celestia and is a skilled flyer, she is also a bit smug and cocky, and loves to take risks. Her jade wing cutie mark is a treasure to behold, representing her skills as a Wonderbolt.

Some say she's the reincarnation of her Maximal namesake from millions of years ago.

Airazor was created by Larry DiTillio and Bob Forward along with Beast Wars: Transformers.

My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic was created by and Bonnie Zacharle.
