Continuing my cover recreation studies of great artists & covers...In this case, the splash page to the EC story, "Eye for an Eye", which was intended to print in one of EC's last science-fiction titles, but they were cancelled before it could.
The original art was created by Angelo Torres, copyright EC Comics.
This recreation is a special one, commissioned to replace the lost original for display at this year's tribute to Angelo Torres' 90th birthday at the NYC Society of Illustrators, starting May 11th.
The mini series I've been working on are super big, this is 18x24 bristol.
