Description yes i've been enjoying playing earthbound/mother 2 recently, i do play it from time to time back then but this time i made further progress and had more fun playing the game

pretty much what happened is my protogen sona, xen deciding to do a psi thunder α but the lightning ending up hitting himself instead (maybe due to unluckiness or lack of experience or both), zapping him into bones
also don't worry much about him turning into bones, he will eventually wake up a few hours or so later, since he's technically a living skele living in a protogen body, just knocked out by the zaps


also more experimenting around, another one where i use multi-poses zap except i kept the bones detailed unlike last time where i cut corners instead, but obviously this one took way more time to finish, like an entire day, started around yesterday or something and just finished now

also yes, this is the first time i put a warning sign, however it makes sense since this animation is both questionable and has flashing light
to be honest most of the arts i made here are questionable
well it's good to add a warning beforehand since earthbound fans might come across this and they likely won't know about the zap shenanigans i usually do

anyways, another unique thing i added is the opening and the "skeleton transform" part and a fade out-in to make a smooth transition between loops
actually the "skeleton transform" thingy is not exactly new, i did that before on the earlier zap animations i made on flash, however i didn't publish them so if you want to see them, feel free to reach to me and ask me about it, you can find ways of contacting me in my post or on my (at the moment broken) website

also new logo, it looks basic and ain't as interesting as the before since i spent like a few minutes on it

and since i got the idea from earthbound, obviously i have to add in the hp rolling meter window and the dialog box (generated) from earthbound, the texts from the dialog box are obviously taken from earthbound with only the names changed, however the dialog box generator i used cannot do alpha sign so i ended up using a normal "a" instead, might look odd but i think it can be easily overlooked, until i mentioned this of course
and yes i have to admit a sin i've made, that is i used boxes with same color as the dialog background to cover up the texts and reveal it through sizing it instead of making every letter appears like how it was meant to be, it looks bad if you focus onto it and i sincerly apologize for that since i wanted to cut down the time to make this, i might have not cut corners on one part but i might have on the other ones
anyways, in case you didn't notice or noticed already, the font i used for the name in the rolling meter window is not the one used in the original game, it was due to how i couldn't find it so far so i ended up using a nes font i already installed, it still kinda works but still looks quite odd if you played earthbound for a while
also one of the reasons why this take a while to make is due to how i attempted to make the hp rolling meter actually roll, by actually animating it frame-by-frame, since flash has zoom limitation is vector-based and i converted the bitmaps into shapes since it's easier to edit that way but still time-consuming

for the dialog box, i used earthbound text labs to generate

note that all of those including earthbound are made by nintendo so the copyright goes to them (or something, i'm not really good at this copyright thingy)

made with flash 8 however only using features available on flash mx 2004 (so no post-processing nor enhanced gradient)

technical details :
12 fps (flash default fps); 124 frames
1100x800 resolution (doubled flash default resolution, 880000 pixels)
8 bit color depth (this made the gradient shadows become flat at the cost of file size so i don't mind)
