Niagara Falls, OntarioI headed back to the Falls tonight. I was surprised to see the fall colours still out. The wind was pretty crazy, I thought all the leaves would have been gone by now!!!
The water was fast and quiet tonight. Sure was weird!!!

Id say this week would be the last change to get half decent pics of this place for colours. I wont be back until the snow and ice starts there cuz thats when it gets awesome! Thats when you should go. The access from the main parking lot is closed until 6am.. so winter is the best time for sunrise shots..

the one you have to go past the falls to get to.. behind the hydro plant... then you drive through the parking lot towards to new bridge towards the tablerock!

The colors in this are stunning! The yellow, red, and oranges create such an impacting contrast of color with the blue and whites of the falls! And the sunset and the clouds make everything in foreground and midground so prominent. An excellent example of photography. The falls though, they look almost as if they are painted...was that an effect you added on, or am I just seeing it differently?

The falls were fast tonight so the effect is just caused by the shutter. No other added effect!
