Description
When watching My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, most of the architecture is nice to look at, but from time to time does come across the line between "dignified" and "saccharine". The Friendship Express train however, goes well beyond that line. I get that the show was intended for younger girls, but while I'm OK with the pastel colors and expect nothing less, I still think that the gingerbread house look was going too far. With all that said, after doing the Polar Express and Hooterville Cannonball in this style, I thought I'd give the Friendship Express a makeover to make it look more like a train than a gingerbread house, though I did keep the pastel colors and a simplistic design. Hope y'all like it.

You're welcome. I think Hasbro should hire you to redesign the train like this.

Or one of the animators will come across this and use it as a guide.

Now I'm curious as to what various train sets look like in this style.

Well, for example, I have a Tyco Royal Blue train set, and I'm curious as to what it looks like, had it exist in MLP.

Probably wouldn't look like much considering the simplistic nature of MLP's designs and animation.

I see. But I don't think all of them would work in MLP style for the reasons I already said, that's why doing the Polar Express was such a challenge. Plus I prefer to do famous fictional trains in that style.
