I am a sucker for freckles. I think that's my favorite part, they look like part of the image as opposed to sitting on top of the skin like "Oh she has freckles now!"

Before I ask I wanna state that as an artist I know it's not the brush settings that make something look good, but they do help get a certain effect. So I've been trying to get more of painterly look to my style, but am having troubles with the brushes. What kind of brushes do you use and are there settings for them that help get a good painting look?
This picture is beautiful by the way. I wish I could speed paint something this good.
