depending on your browser of choice, there should be a switch, just to the left of your name on the profile page that gives you the option of testing Eclipse mode.

Ok, thank You for quick answer, I assume the browser choice apply to where to find the option of testing Eclipse, and not to my other question about using eclipse with the mobile fone via the website, as I do now in old systeme...

correct. I'm told they do plan an eclipse style overhaul of the app.  And when I've accessed DA on a tablet, it's still mostly a mobile like look even via the mobile look even through the browser option. So it accidentally be impacting your options.

I don't use the app, I am accessing dA from my mobile fone to website directly, and I have there option to switch to the desktop version and mobile one, and that was what I was wondering about - if that will stay the same.

I'm not sure if I unerstood right, and if I was clear about that before.

Most of Eclipse looks like their mobile app.

When you access directly - even via a tablet or smart phone - the format is different than if you are using a computer. It more closely resembles the app. This may be due to the smaller screen.

The way is now - is that if I access with my smart phone dA notification page -in the desktop mode- everythink looks pretty much the same like on the computer, ofcours it is a problem to fit it on a small screen, never the less as far as I know, there are all the same options like on the computer, problem arrives when trying to operate that with possibilities of touch screen, especially when some things slide out of the page while zooming in, like in cause of joining the groups, so I was hoping that this problem would be solved, but if the Eclipse verssion look like the mobile app that dA made few years ago, then it will be very difficult to handle it at all...

I have a question. I noticed on Eclipse when I tried to change my user icon it wouldn't take cause it was too small and couldn't be resized so I had to do it through classic Da. When Eclipse is in place what icon size can we use? And can we still use gifs? Or does it mater since it's still in beta?

Eclipse requires a 100x100 sized image while classic requires 50x50

I like the direction that eclipse has gone with this. Changing the layout of notifications a bit was needed, but I definitely agree with you on that topic tho. Da was always for any kinds of creations
and overloading it with images doesn't make it more attractive.. :/
Personally, it just scared me away.

Honestly, after spending 48 hours in eclipse mode and sort of getting used to everything, the updates are going in the right direction.The colors could be a little less contrasting, yes, and I'm not sure what problems people have been having with engagements as far as the watch tab goes (if anything I feel more inclined to interact with deviations now that they're not just grouped in with all my other messages), but I hope it all works out once people get used to the new layout. 

I agree with a couple other people about having the option to take away the about box away, however. I'd love to be able to just have an optional, "find me here" link box. But that's just me. 

EDIT :: Sorry I meant info box. The about section doesn't bother me, but having a "my info" on my home page, when they could just click over to the about area and find my information seems redundant. If it was just a place to show off links to your other sites, it wouldn't bother me as much, but it doesn't need all the other information.

- Please make the dark/light themes less heavily contrasted, the current white on near-black and black on bright white is migraine inducing and makes the site incredibly difficult to use for extended periods. 
- Please allow us to mass edit our favorites, like in the current site.
- Please put pagination back in, infinite scrolling slows down browsers and makes it very difficult to efficiently find things. Infinite scrolling makes large folders essentially unmanageable.
- Please put "watch" back in with feedback notifications. Having watch as a separate tab will drive down followers' engagement with our art. I have already seen an increasingly drastic change in my engagement numbers since more and more people have started switching to Eclipse. The farther something is from the hub of a website, the less likely it is to be seen; the notifications center is the hub of this website. A relatively small portion of people are going to take the time to click through to a separate page for their watch feed; as I said, I'm already seeing the effects of this firsthand. The current (legacy) setup puts our art right at the top of the page every person goes to when they log in. Keep it that way. Or is our followers actually seeing our art when it's uploaded not the point?
- Please add HTML custom code back into custom boxes.
- Please give us at least a vague timeline on when Eclipse will become the only version of the site available.

I am so frustrated at this point. What I knew would happen when you moved uploads out of regular notifications is happening in full now, and it's so discouraging sharing my art when I know the website I'm uploading it to is actively harming my chances of all my followers seeing it. I am getting literally hundreds fewer views and faves than before Eclipse was rolled out for a larger userbase. I am getting so tired of all of this, it's difficult to even write these comments anymore. Whoever is making the primary decisions here obviously doesn't give a shit, or at the very least woefully misguided. It feels like all I can hope for at this point is that most people here migrate to Artri.se when it's up and running. I definitely will be.

It's not so bad if you wear sun glasses when viewing a page. Oh and makes double sure you're using SPF 30 or better sunscreen when browsing.
