Shirui Lily or Siroi lily, Lilium mackliniae, is a rare Indian species of plant which is found only in the upper reaches of the Siroi hill ranges in the Ukhrul District of Manipur , India , at an elevation of 1,730β2,590 metres (5,680β8,500Β ft) above sea level. It is located near the boundary of Myanmar to the east, Shiroi village in the west, Choithar village in the south and Sihai village in the north.

I like the photo. You've really captured the sense of warm rain in an Asian setting.
I do feel that the composition is a bit too crowded. Could you have shot a lower f-stop to deliberately lessen your depth of field? That would have caught more light from her face and blurred everything around her. Just a thought. Unless we're in the fortunate position to have models and a scene to ourselves, photography is a crap shoot. 300 duds for every 1 that is close to being good.
She's beautiful, though. Worthy of a story.

I'd like to shoot compositions like this but can't go out with my D90 when it rains. Do you using a water proof cover for your camera? And some tips to make photos like that would be awesome, when you have time of course... Thanks in advance!Β

Great photo, fantastic feeling - it speaks for itself. However, I find the 2 poles in front a bit too distracting. Also, maybe it would've been better for the subject not to be in the center. That is just my opinion

Photography is not effortless. It takes a special appreciation for the little things, the things that so many people miss because they are too busy looking at their phones. Without photographers who capture moments like this, so much beauty would be forgotten, and we may descend into a mechanical universe. And also, this isn't your phone camera. Proffessional cameras have dozens of different functions that can take YEARS to learn how to properly use. The cameras are extremely difficult to operate and can take a lot of time to get the right focus and zoom.
Please make sure you know something about an art before you insult it.
