Description Zacatecoluca, La Paz, El Salvador.

We visited a rural shrimp farm and next to it had a school. Why the school was of notable interest was because it's in such a rural place, it's not attached to the national power grid. It's one of the rare schools in the country that utilize solar power panels. And even for such a rural place, they have a few laptops, and it's the only school that teaches kids how to use computers since the first grade. All without being plugged into a power grid. Big change is happening even outside of big cities.
Even teachers want to use the school's laptops from time to time and how much kids learn to use the computers is hugely dependant on how good the teachers can adapt to this technology that hadn't been accessible to them for many years of their lives.

I really wanted to try out the camera's panaromic shoot mode and I did it for this photo. Automatic in-camera stitching worked wonderfully, and even though the output wasn't a RAW file, it was still very easy to get the result I wanted in post-processing.

All we need are solar powered laptops (and other such devices) and nobody would have this problem Good thing they have solar panels so they can utilise laptops at least!
