Description EXPRESSIONIST ART VS SKILLFULL ART

I'll say the obvious, at risk of being called a homophobe, despite MANY gay men that say the same
thing I do.

That is that for centuries art created via skill, from Rembrandt to Picaso, ruled in the art world.

But after 1950s the minor populace of Expressionist art that required none or very little technical skill to create, completely dominated the worldwide art scene.

This coincides with the rise of the gay elite, taking over the artworld via positions established by gay men that encompass the overwhelming majority of art dealers, curators, and gallery owners.

Before this synchronic rise that STILL lords over the art market today, this was NOT the case.

Now, art that requires very little skill sells for vast amounts of money MORE than very skillful art; this phenomenon based on the FALSE premise that Expressionist art has meaning behind its simplicity, when in reality, this is just a common marketing spin between the artist and their dealers.

This is WHY artists like Jean-Michel Basquiat sell paintings millions of dollars MORE than artists like Frank Frazetta.

And when these artists paintings are displayed side by side, the public very quickly discerns, which artists manifests his vision with more talent!

Art teachers and dealers reject this REALITY with angered fervor, often using excuses as art-immaturity, or blatant accusations of art ignorance to refute what is so evidently plain to see.

The gap between the 1950s and today still remains an unjust joke, where the elite still spin the idea that a blank white canvas is worth $50 million dollars by convincing people that it's a Polar Bear in a Snowstorm!

In ages past, there were no markets that featured a single black line that was sold for millions, because some slick tongue art guru convinced them it represented the loss of humanity. LOL

Yet some claim our era is the greatest in art, and in a way, it is, since clearly no skill or talent is needed to be a "successful" artist!

However, times are changing, because this art world Tomfoolery is luckily based ONLY in Western markets.

There are now art elites of both gay and hetero curators, dealers, and gallery owners that have rejected this faulty phenomenon in the Asian art scenes, where they promote, sell, and VALUE very skillful art and artists, with the notion of bringing the genuine facets and venues BACK to its most honest iterations.

The same system that launched Van Gogh, Claude Monet, and even Michealangelo.

It takes very little effort to recognize that the art market today, has become its own SUBCULTURE full of dodgy spin-doctors and pseudo experts, controlling what artists embody the next TREND.

And it's one that direly needs to be dismantled for good.

-- Dark Riddle

Since the mid-1950s, the art world has been corrupted by a perverse elite that spun and sold the idea that EXPRRESIVE art, which requires none, or little skill, is valued over very skillful art.

Since then, the art world has/and still is vastly corrupted by this elite, that value their own hypocrisy and wallets over ANY art!
