IT'S UNIQUE!"What makes Olm Heart different from other books about speculative evolution
is that it focuses on how sentient animals and people deal with each other.
The main plot is how a remnant of people take different sides, some trying to
help the Olms in inradicating the predation of all sentient species and
instilling peace between them.
The other theme is in helping the humans survive their displacement in this
new Era, and if they even belong there.
And it also focuses on a new form of communication between humans and animal,
as well as the mental, sexual, and cultural ramifications it brings.
Among all this is Faux Physics, which permanently plagues zones of the
region with physics that don't function properly, accidentally creating floating lakes,
teleporting caves, hot and cold spots, and reverse gravity swells.
