Rachel Ann Summers was born in a timeline that was in absolute turmoil, she was the daughter of Scott Summers and Jean Grey, though when it came to her powers, she mostly inherited both her mother's looks and powers, but not at Jean's power level. She was trained alongside Blue and Franklin Richards when they were with the Xmen, but due to Senator Kelly's assassination, the Mutant Registration Act was in full effect. Ahab, the scientist formerly known as Dr. Rory Campbell, launched the MK 3 Sentinels into the world, forcing mutants into the camps, killing any that opposed them as part of Project Wideawake.

Ahab took an interest in Rachel, knowing of her inherited psionic talents. He plucked her from her parents and was conditioned into the Hound Program, turning the once sweet and adventurous Rachel into a vicious Mutant Hound, hunting down her own kind for the betterment of Ahab's hubris. But hope still remained, when several mutants escaped and joined the Resistance, Rachel was sent to get them. But she was not prepared for Franklin, whom she still cared about, managed to free her mind with his reawakened Omega-level powers. Rachel felt like herself for first time in years, she agreed to help anchor Kate Pryde's mind into her past self. But when Ahab sent several MK 3 Sentinels, he also sent his latest prototype dubbed 'Project Nimrod' to kill the resistance. Just as the prototype was about to kill Moira, Rachel had her old friend Blue to activate the Siege Perilous, forcing the Prototype and Rachel into an unknown dimension.

Rachel awoke in an abandoned alleyway just months after Senator Kelly's assassination attempt was thwarted by the Xmen and Kate Pryde's intervention. Confused and alone in a world she barely could recognise, Rachel tried for Westchester to see if she could find the Xmen. But as she tried to telepathically scan for any familiar faces, she was attacked by a dark entity who was also looking for the Xmen. When the Xmen took her to to the mansion, they were ambushed by the Shadow King, who briefly took over Rachel's mind. When he had completed his task, he left his brief host and departed.

Though after dealing with a brief struggle with another attack, the Xmen finally needed a break. While the Professor looked into what the young students were feeling after dealing with the Shadow King, he also took some time to learn about Rachel and the timeline she hailed from. Kitty joined him to get an idea on how to approach her, something that Scott and Jean were reluctant to do due to their shared shock about her heritage. Kitty had a brief rapport with her as she knew about Rachel's help in preventing the timeline from coming to pass, they even both discovered that Rachel had a special kind of ability to see the past of those around her, a form of Psychometry called Chrono-Skimming. Xavier offered her a chance to stay and help her rediscover herself, now free from any who try to control her. Xavier also asked about the markings on her face, Rachel chose to keep them to remind her of what must never come to pass. Until the day comes when she needs a new codename, she opted to use her real name as a sign of her freedom.

Rachel Summers, formerly known as Phoenix and Marvel Girl, currently in the comics she is known as Prestige (though for the life of me, I don't like that codename so don't expect me to call her that anytime soon). the 2nd, 3rd and 4th looks are based on her red and gold look from being a teacher as part the beloved Wolverine & the Xmen comics. a look that I enjoyed the emost, her gradiant jacket is from a micro i did of her a while back based on a variant cover alongside Polaris that never got printed for some reason. (i added it because i worked hard on the original micro i made, which can be seen on MIB somehwere on my current gallery).
