Well, it's an assault rifle, not a sniper rifle. Not that it's comfortable (for the poor bastard on the business end) to give RENO a grenade launcher.

Okay I thought of something scholarly to say:
The focus and the angle of the shot is engaging, almost like the rifle is pointing right out the picture. The rain and the texture give it a nice feel. The lighting of Reno's skin and the brightness of his red hair are a strong contrast against the darkened backdrop. Oh and Reno's looking pretty bish = bonus points

I'm in love with this. I love how you gave it the feeling of both an oil painting, and a watercolor painting. So it looks realistic and yet still has the whimsy of a fantasy world. This is a work that I find inspirational and intimidating. Inspirational in the sense that it makes me actually want to draw again, but intimidating in the sense that I feel I shouldn't even try because I'll never be as incredible as you.
So in other words, this artwork and your style have absolutely taken my breath away.

The shading and highlights, especially on the gun look really good. And the background with the rain and glowing lights is especially cool.
That one spike of hair in front of his eye does look a little strange, it looks more like a piece of see through cloth or something than hair, but the rest of his hair looks bouncy and awesome and reno-like

I do like how focused he is on the job. Bet he's already bitched about having to go out in the rain. Lovely coloring, has all that eerily green glow that is Midgar that we know and love. I have creepy Shinra Tower music in my head now cos of all that green
