A mighty race of warriors who live in Eludria's winter dominated north, the orcs are known to all the six races as great fighters, plunderers and adventures who desire two things, attain great glory to be remembered in story and live for a good fight. Orcs lifestyle is a clan like society that is loosely unified into a confederacy that is based on survival in the northern clans and to protect themselves from the evils that lie farther north, dark forces that hold a grudge for the orcish people. They do not revere gods but the spirits and stories of their heroes called Great Warriors who achieved immortality through their great deeds, fitting for an agnostic culture that distains and opposes deities. Orcs are also known as plunders and raiders as they come down to the southern lands of Eludria to plunder gold, raid villages and towns, steal all treasure and fight the greatest warriors who are there, they wont take slaves but they will kill you if your in their way. Orcs are either respected, feared or hated in Eludria and they don't care what you think about that, they are content with their life style and would never change that for anything.

Thousands of years ago orcs were a nomadic people who were searching for a new homeland, guided by the spirits of their ancestors they traveled to the lands of Eludria during the time of the Elven Empire and came into violent conflict with the elves instantly. After the great war the orcs were given the northlands which became the Northern Clans, a vast patchwork of tribal clans ruled by chieftains and living off the land to survive its harsh environment, and survive they did. In the third age during the War of Bitter Winters the orcs became united by the Great warrior Ful'Tarok Fangcrown to drive out the giants and their master the Winter King. From this alliance of clans the Confederacy was made and the orcs would stand somewhat aligned for the protection of themselves and the continent, when they are not fighting each other or raiding other lands. Today the orcs stand as one of Eludrias great peoples, renowned for their prowess in war and their savage code of honor which has earned them the begrudging respect of all the peoples of the seven lands, in varying degrees.
