Description Remember this piece? [link] , well, here's what we did with it afterwards:

Me and tutor Paul Gittins casted the stone in aluminium (which unfortunately destroyed it in the process) and after we took it out the mould, we decided to paint the metal using egg tempera, a painting technique which involved mixing colour pigments with egg yolk (a bit messy but worthwhile in the end) which many of the master artists like DaVinci used to keep their art in good condition for hundreds of years.

I am extremely proud of this, as it is one of the most experimental mixed media pieces I've made so far, and I'd really like to thank Paul for his help in the project.
