This reminds me of an old tv show from the early and mid 80's. The Dark Side. It was like the old Twilight Zone series. The opening was set in some woods, and then they reversed, lik a negative, and then the title of the show came up. Cool!

Very interesting. Rather enchanting.
Reminds me a bit of the Forgotten City in Final Fantasy VII.

Most negatives or inveted pictures in my mind are really tacky, but since this is sucha simple subject it works out really well. I like this alot. Nice detail in the clouds and tree tops.

Thanks, I agree.. using 'invert' is a bit of a 'cheap trick'
the sort of thing you do the first time you play with photoshop.
Normally wouldnt even think of using it but works here so this
must be my exception that proves the rule

Agreed. It works very well in this. Question for ya, I was looking through your gallery at your infared photos which are just stunning,do you use an infrared filter or a pricey lens that produces the infared? Ive always wondered how they were done.

Hi again,
You can use either an infrared filter like the Hoya R72 (though you must use a camera body that is sensetive to infrared like the Nikon D70) or you can have a camera converted to infrared where a specialist company like 'Lifepixel' place a small IR filter inside the camera on the sensor - I use both methods
