WARNING! Do not download any of these computer viruses onto your computer. You could seriously mess up your computer, have all of your personal information and data compromised, or even get in trouble with the law if it spreads to other people.

In July 2001, a worm was released onto the internet named by a Mountain Dew brand the responders Marc Mariffret and Ryan Permeh were drinking at the time. By July 19, the worm infected at least 359,000 computers, which led them to a website called virus.wikidot.com infected web pages displayed the screen to say "Welcome to hxxps[://]www.worm[.]com! Hacked by Chinese!" I kid you not, that is what it said, I know it sounds racist, and don't go to the worm.com link and if it gets linked in the description, I'll defang it so it shouldn't be linked. It caused billions of dollars in damages, caused DoS attacks, and even hit the White House's websites. There was another version of the virus two weeks called Code Red II to exploit a vulnerability, Microsoft had released a patch to fix the vulnerability, but didn't use it themselves.

This is one of the more awkward Malware Embodys to fight because of the problematic text "hacked by Chinese."
