a simple shot of the moon cropped at 840mm. took awile but i got the nikon 180 to 600mm lens plus 1.4 tele converter. this is the result of those lenses. it really blows the old 200 to 500mm f mount out of the water. even when the 200 to 500 doesnt have the teleconverter and the 180 to 600mm does its still sharper than the 200 to 500! very impressed so far. its near impossible to get this lens its been out of stock ever since it came out.

this is the lens im going to use to catch the last solar eclipse in the usa till 2040. i probably wont use the telecoverter for that though. this lens has enough reach.
