the layers of color in the back ground work really well. that's not really the background, is it? lol it's pretty much the painting all on it's own! i like things as abstract as possible, but as you show, it looks more focused and gives the painting some structure if there is something recognizable. the unusual way you blend colors is awesome. great job!Β

Of course when I was little and had access to paint I did, but now it's simply colored pencil.

Colored pencils are cool to use, esp if you use a white pencil over them, it blends the colors really nicely

I really enjoy the use of an more abstract background with an identifiable object in the foreground. It draws you into the picture. Good use of color when adding highlights to the background., too much could have spoiled this fine work.
