Fair enough.. if you read the comments under Al Ain Times W. had a fascinating explantion of that painting... this may help you to understand abstract concepts. [link] Here he explains all the components of his composition... you probably still won't like it but at least you will learn about the symbolism... have fun..

Yea.. I have no art training..so much of the subtleties of abstracts and modernism are lost on me... probably would appreciate them more than just for the colors and shapes if I knew what the idea was.. I've never been good at seeing that...same with poetry.. most of the time I'm lost....

we are all different... most abstract artists have enormous respect for the classics and the best are skilled painters and drawers too....

...yes we are all different thank goodness and I'm sure there are some things you are interested in that the next person cannot quite grasp. .. I have enjoyed talking to you and part of the attraction of dART is how much I learn about art, geography, history and life from my fellow deviants! Liz

Yea...I saw some of Picasso's traditional stuff...quite good...and then he started that cubism stuff...I never quite got that..but clearly he was a consummate artist...I'm sure that's true of most abstract/modern painters...I guess , as I said, if I knew more about it I might appreciate the nuances more...enjoyed talking to you too
