Description
Well, now that you've seen my top ten unintentionally unlikable characters. Now time to see the characters that I like despite the fact that they were supposed to be scrappies or dislikable. So here we go...10. Chi-Chi from the Dragon Ball franchise
I can see why people hate on Chi-Chi, yes, she can be naggy at times, and a little overbearing, and hoo boy that temper.....but can you blame her? Consider this...her overbearing attitude towards her son is just so he can succeed in life. I mean, what kind of good parent would not want their kid to do better, especially if the parents came from a low income family, like Goku and Chi Chi? As someone who comes from a family where the parents came from low income, I can understand Chi Chi's frustrations with Gohan wanting to fight when she wants him study. In addition, she did become supportive of Gohan fighting later on so she did have character development.
9. Saito from The Familiar of Zero
Admittedly, while I do hate the anime, I do like the characters of Saito, Siesta (wish she and Saito became a couple instead of Louise and Saito), and Kiche. As I mentioned, Louise beats up Saito with a horse whip and we're supposed to see that as funny or he deserves it because he made a smart ass comment about her breast size or something. Except I don't. First off, while sarcastic, Saito came off to me as someone who was a generally nice guy...and I don't care what the femi-nazis say, a woman abusing a man is just as bad as the other way around. I actually know someone in my family who was actually physically and emotionally abused by his own first wife. It's not funny, and the man does not deserve it in anyway. So, sorry guys, but Saito's got my sympathy. So bitch all you want, femi-nazis.
8. Sarah Williams from Labyrinth
Kind of low on the list because she was meant to be this whiny teenage daughter who had to grow up. Admittedly, she was whiny...but I sympathized with her because her parents are annoying...they kind of seem neglectful and the stepmother kind of feels like a narcissist to me. That's all I've got to say.
7. Go!Animate "Trouble-Makers"
Yes, I know I've beaten Go!Animate to death in my rants but just let me burn it's corpse one last time. These people are supposed to be assholes who deserve to be punished in many ways. However, the problem with that is that some of the punishments are way too much for something that could be small such as 'putting a sign saying McDonald's' on the school' or 'hitting a teacher'. Sometimes, they even get executed for goodness sake! Anyone want to put an icepick at the brains of Go!Animate fans?
6. Tom from Tom and Jerry
Don't get me wrong, I like Jerry too. But let's face it, poor Tom takes the bigger brunt a lot more than Jerry. It's very rare for Jerry to be punished in any short, whether Tom is in the wrong or in the right. Maybe in some of the shorts he does deserve it, like when he's actually bullying Jerry and/or Jerry's friends, or just being a dick in general...except the problem with that is that it's only some of the shorts. The other shorts, Tom's just acting on his instincts and is trying to protect his home from a free-loading mouse and he still gets punished for it. It's not funny, creators, sorry. At the very least not to me. Not to mention that some of his owners are very abusive to him and ungrateful. Poor guy...
5. Diaspro from The Winx Club
So she can be a little, okay, really bitchy at times, but like with Chi-Chi I can't blame her. I mean, how would you feel if your fiancee was cheating on you with some random chick/dude? Yeah, didn't think you would like it? In addition, she was raised to be liked that to think that she was Sky's bride. So, you can hate on her all you want and say that Sky did nothing wrong, but bitchy or no, no one deserves to be cheated on.
4. Donald Duck
Similiar to Tom. I like Donald Duck, he's like my spirit animal
3. Seita from Grave of the Fireflies
Believe it or not, Seita was not meant to sympathetic according to the creator. While Seita does do some poor choices in the movie that do eventually lead to him and his sister dying, however, he still is trying his best to help him and his sister survive their home during World War II. He also feels remorse for his action and he may have gotten over his head, but he did it all to help his sister, even if it didn't succeed in the end. Oh well, at least he and his sister did get a happy ending and got to be reunited in the afterlife, so it's a bittersweet tale.
2. Reeka and Draggle from the original MLP series
Yes, I watched the first MLP series growing up so I all ready liked it before it was cool
1. Gwen, Courtney, and Sky from Total Drama franchise
Yes, I know only one person is allowed on this section but I just couldn't pick one of these girls. I think that they are all sympathetic even if the writers tried not to make them as such and tried to make others look sympathetic *cough*Dave*cough*.
Gwen - She was blamed for stealing Duncan from Courtney. However, first off, Duncan kissed her rather than the other way around and second, she did feel remorse for what she had done. And Courtney may have overreacted with Gwen over the love triangle....but....
Courtney - While Courtney may have been bossy in TDA and was mean to Gwen over something Gwen herself felt remorse for, she was cheated on by Duncan first off so her feelings of anger are understandable. In addition, she suffered a lot through the series, such as very unfair or humiliating eliminations (the only well-deserved one was in TDA but that was it), and especially Shitty Mundae Shit from Total Drama Arsehole Suckass, where she got no apologies for when she felt remorse for writing the chart and got barfed on by sharks.
Sky - "OH MY GERD, SHE'S SO OVERRATED!" "SHE'S A MARY-SUE UNLIKE ZOEY!" "SHE'S A MEANIE TO DAVE, WHOSE AN ANGEL!" First off, Sky, while having played a part in the failure that is Skave, she felt remorse for her actions, got a raw deal with Dave, and to be honest, outside of the Skave crap, she was actually a good character. She had depth, she had motivation and flaws, she was interesting. Even with her relationship with Dave, she kept her head in the game and she can be kind at times. So take that, rabid Dave fans.
Meme belongs to
These characters each belong to their creators, who, in my opinion, shouldn't be upset at what they've made.

Nice. But, for me, I made Sky(Total Drama), Ichigo(Tokyo Mew Mew), and Dan(Dan Vs.) as crossover friends.

Sarah kind of started out as this whiny teenager but matured. The problem was they pinned the blame on her fully when truth be told the parents are dislikable especially the stepmother. In addition, Jareth, the main villain, was creepy to her and it was supposed to be romantic.

Yeah.... Louise is a pink haired bitch, who whines till she gets what she wants, abuses Saito AND treats him like a slave, so how did he get her as his girlfriend?! (I ship him with Siesta)
And by god.... someone needs to give the GoAnimaters a wack in a the head to get their atleast some of their logic back, because what happens to the troublemakers in their videos....

I know, some of them get executed for the smallest crimes!

Yay, now the sister meme's here!
10. Sometimes I feel the fandom is so harsh to judge Chi-Chi because she doesn't take anyone's crap rather than be a submissive character who doesn't have any relevance to the plot besides 'make babies', and...from what I hear, the anime kind of exaggerated her more ragey side. Plus on the flip side, Goku himself can also be considered a bad parent for frequently putting his kids into danger despite being more mellow. Chi-Chi at least shows she wants to protect her kids from being hurt and wants them to have a good education.
7. I feel bad for the troublemakers for the most part, even if it's someone I don't like such as Caillou. These GoAnimators should just leave the characters alone if they bother them so much. Out of sight, out of mind.
6. I used to always like Jerry for being the cute one as a kid, but I nowadays prefer Tom more because:
A. I'm a cat person.
B. I feel bad for him for always getting the short end of the stick.
Especially since a lot of time as you said, he's usually just doing his job as a typical house cat by keeping pests (which Jerry is) out of the house. I can only name one short where Tom actually came out on top. Though don't get me started with the shorts with that lazy, irresponsible babysitter.
5. Agreed.
4. Donald is the best, especially now that I'm older and gained a better understanding of his character as just an average joe with a short temper because things just will not go his way. I can't blame him for the most part. He can just as compassionate as he can be a jerk sometimes. (I swear, for years, there have been so many duck characters that share a similar personality to Donald)
1. Completely agreed with this one of course. And very fitting pics to use.

10. Nothing against Goku but he may be an optimistic, and well meaning dad but sometimes he puts his own kids in danger. I mean, I don't have kids myself personally, but I think I would be similar to how Chi-Chi is acting if my husband was like that.
7. GoAnimators must have some serious issues considering the way that they punish the characters that they don't like. I wonder as if these characters remind them of something so traumatizing in their life...I could do a Fruedian psycho-analysis on them.
6. I do like Jerry and Tom equally but on the shorts where Tom is doing his job and not really being a jerk, I root for the guy. Oh my God, I hate that babysitter. I always felt so bad for Tom and Jerry in the episodes where that blonde broad was there and all she would do was chat, chat, and fucking chat.
5. And...I'm starting to ship Diaspro and Bloom to an extent...hey, it's better than Sky and Bloom!
4. I relate to him so much because I've always had a bit of temper, and while I am more calmer now, I still have times where I get mad or frustrated and I feel like doing that Donald Duck angry quack signature. And let's give a thanks to Donald Duck for shaping all the other memorable duck characters here. ^^
1. How can you not feel sorry for those poor girls looking sad?!

Kitty-McGeeky97 In reply to Day-DreamingSnarker [2016-06-15 01:24:48 +0000 UTC]
10. Yeah, I wouldn't exactly call Goku the most responsible parent...
7. Definitely some kind of issues...
6. Seriously, a cat and mouse make better babysitters than her, and yet they just have to get in trouble for actually being responsible and helpful.
5. I'd like to see that happen.
4. I used to have meltdowns a lot, especially in my early years of school. Like I would throw textbooks on the ground in defiance when the teacher got mad at me or when I couldn't do something as simple as snap my fingers and being angry that everyone else could. Now, you probably wouldn't even be able to tell I did stuff like that since I'm usually more composed.

7. Would be interesting to explore that pschye of theirs.
6. I just want to write a fanfic where she gets some karma, what kind of karma, I don't know, but something.
5. I may even write a one-shot of it or even draw.
4. Ah I see.

I agree with Tom and the so called troubled makers of go animate. They punish Tom way more then they need to as well as the characters of goanimate. Seriously, sometimes I think the other characters doing the punishing, *cough*Coullou's dad*cough deserves way more punishment then so called trouble makers. Speaking of which, it sadens me they make of the characters very ooc, especially the parents.
