Professor Membrane is always working, he never has time to be with his kids. He thinks that recording himself will be a good way to make it seem as if he were home with them. But Dib and Gaz don't want a floating machine, they want their real father there to keep them companyI can relate to that, my parents are never home. My brother and sister see me more as their mom since Im always taking care of them.

My parents barely come home, due to lots of work and stuff like that.
We barely have any family outings.
My little brother and sister look up to me as well.
It's like my mom works 24/7, and my dad comes home late. (Sometimes, mostly he comes home early now.)
We really miss having them around.
When I was 10, it started getting harder to live.
They always depended on me, and I keep feeling I let them down. I always felt delighted to hear my mom or dad has a day/week off.
It's just not the same.

And to think this happens not only to you, but others too. :/ It's probably only going to get worse. But that's where support comes in: Keep looking ahead. At least you know to appreciate your family time than others telling their parents off and stuff, you know? I admire you for that.

Wow. I never really thought how it is being them. Their dad can only take one day out of the year to have a family dinner. And they don't have a mom either. Looking at it, I'm surprised they don't have a stronger bond, since all they really have is each other.
