Description
Professor Membrane is always working, he never has time to be with his kids. He thinks that recording himself will be a good way to make it seem as if he were home with them. But Dib and Gaz don't want a floating machine, they want their real father there to keep them companyI can relate to that, my parents are never home. My brother and sister see me more as their mom since Im always taking care of them.

I know how you feel, my mom is at school half of the day, and my dad is across the country for his job and now i don't even see my brother cause he's a school, i'm a little bit alone.

Actually, Jhonen doesn't own the characters any more, he sold them to nickelodeon, and they won't sell them back to him. So we will never have more Invader Zim

Actually, Membrane is home quite alot. Its true he's been on a floating TV screen, but he does go home. He still doesnt spend time with his kids or listens to them or plays with them or talks to them or help them catch aliens or stop Gaz from beating up Dib or explain where there mom is or help their kids out with anything, except told Gaz to go see Dib to help him be slightly less insane, but Membrane's home. plus, I think its actually video feed, not pre-recorded. Lol, im not really being sympathetic to the Kids, am I?
PS. Has anyone done a "not now son, im making....TOAST!" comment yet?

Dib doesn't have a mom because he was an artificial human created by Membrane. For Gaz on the other hand, her origin is unknown since Jhonen and the writers have not mentioned about it.

Well it's never the same for me. My parents got a speration and told me months later. So much has happened in point of veiw. Now my dad isn't letting me see my mom as much as I really need to. I neeeeed my mom in my life! I really need her! She needs me! I HAVE SEEN HER CRY so many times!!!! I've cried just as much as her. Everytime I get in the car next to her, I see her crying. Itjust isn't fair! I wanna EXPLODE at my dad but I know it's not a good idea at all. I only get to see her every other weekend... I am luck to even stay with her for a few days this weekend. I AM SO MISERABLE! I'M AS SAD AS GIR WITHOUT A SUCKMONKEY OR TACO......... Or worse.
