Description
A character reference for my hare character, Danbuster Cameronean Leadboot, including his faithful fencing sabre!A well-meaning but crazy hare with a vivid imagination and control over cartoon physics. He does his best to help his friends, but tends to make a fool of himself more often than not - though he still muddles through somehow. Being a hare, he also tends to go mad whenever March comes around.
Having a strong sense of justice, he's not a fellow to sit back and do nothing when evil forces are at work, and he heads up a trio of crimefighters known as the Dan Clan (composed of his best friends, Frederick and Spencer) When necessary to apply lethal force, he dual-wields a sabre and Desert Eagle pistol.
He's also a little naive when it comes to romance, still single, and resolving to save himself for marriage.
Danbuster is my personal character and Copyright © me!

This is a great reference probably the best I've seen on deviantART for a character and will be perfect for the group pic, I would suggest though if you want to make it 100% commercially correct you should add a 3/4 view and some colour and shading info as well. You don't need to do that but I just thought I'd throw in my two cents as I'd love to see this in it's fullnessness =b great work!!

Thanks very much!
Yeah, since I've been animating my "Sonic & Danbuster" series, I've really been needing the 3/4 view for sideways view or for characters turning on the spot.
I really ought to go through all these character base pictures and update them... the back view isn't so important really - I can keep them off-stage.

True, back views aren't really necessary as the proportions and wot not are the same as the front with the back view except for the details on them.

A hare. Hares are lankier and have black-tipped ears. Also a little crazy sometimes...

After reading Redwall for a while I never imagined Hares looked like this in real life...I always envisioned them as...rabbits.

Yeah....When I first read Mattimeo (the first Redwall book I read) I had no clue what a few of the creatures were supposed to look like, like Moles and Voles and STOATS.
I like the moles alot in Redwall, however, after searching up some pictures of them, some species of moles are SCARY.

That is one freaky nose.

That does looks rather strange.Probably for feeling around, since moles are virtually blind.

thats quite a title he has, I like how his kilt has a hole for the cotton tail :3... he looks rather dashing in those socks though I do hope he washes them on a regular basis.

Ah, well. I usually refer to them as slippers. I was thinking of a sort of soft cloth footwear that's easy on his feet.
