Ever had one of those moments where you look at something you've just finished and go 'what the hell was I thinking?' This sketch is one of those.Intended to be a concept for the Charon, a mecha design used by the Pirate Clans , the result is a screaming pile of 'what is this crap?' Between the goofy skull mask, the "shades" design of the optics, the outsized cutlass and everything else, there's nothing good and everything wrong about this one.
It was so bad that I immediately disregarded it and went to work on a complete redesign.
Original sketch is c2001-2002, possibly influenced by sleep depravation
