Description
The Shogun, an original mecha design sketch drawn in the mid-late 90s.An experimental "Superheavy" design, the Shogun towers over other mechs as demonstrated by the Tomahawk next to it. Due to its size and bulk, its mobility is lackluster but made up for by incredibly thick armour resistant to most other mecha-mounted weaponry. Likewise, the machine has a broad arsenal; a hand-held superheavy bazooka-type wepaon, two pairs of chest-mounted rapid-fire beam cannons, two chest-mounted missile launcher,s hip-mounted missile launchers, two shoulder-mounted heavy missiles and a head-mounted defensive weapon.
The numerous maneuvering thrusters across its body suggest that it may have been intended for space use, which would offset its bulk
The design features the same insignia as the one found on the Hunter VTOL , Hammerhead , Battleaxe and Cyborg interface designs (maybe the latter is its pilot?), as well as sharing design elements from the Battleaxe, suggesting a common origin.
Sadly, the scale reference behind it may be the only picture remaining of the elusive base model Tomahawk .
